What does a coin mean?
That’s up to your jar. It could mean one laugh, a coffee owed, a finished chore, or a small win. Choose a name and a coin value that make sense to your people. Coins are a way to keep track; IOU Jar doesn’t move money.
Is IOU Jar free?
Yes. You can create jars, invite your people, and drop coins for free. Sign in to create or join a jar and come back to it across devices.
Who can see my jar?
Your drops and notes are shared with the members of that jar. An active invite link lets someone preview the jar’s name and members and join after signing in. Share your link with the people you want in the jar; an admin can replace it in settings.
Does everyone need an iPhone?
No. Use the iPhone app or open IOU Jar in a browser. Sign in with the same account to access your jars across devices.
How many people can share a jar?
A jar can have up to eight people, each with their own coin color. Make a jar for your partner, your family, your close friends, or your small team.
